I agree with Kim. Word games like Text Twist are great. I found it on my Roku TV. I am also a fan of Mahjong. It helps me see how well I associate with matching things quickly. Sort of like "mind agility". Yes, I just made that up.πŸ˜€ I think that is as important as word association.πŸ’œ

What games and activities can help manage lupus-related brain fog and memory issues?

Brain fog and memory problems are common challenges with lupus that can affect daily functioning. While there aren't specific games mentioned in the search results, using memory aids and cognitive tools can help manage these symptoms:

β€’ Use smartphone apps or digital calendars with reminders
β€’ Keep a daily planner for activities and appointments
β€’ Make to-do lists either digitally or in a notebook
β€’ Set multiple reminders for important tasks (e.g. 1 week, 1 day, 1 hour before) To maximize the benefits of these memory-supporting activities:

β€’ Practice them consistently during non-flare periods
β€’ Use them more intensively during flares when brain fog typically worsens
β€’ Combine them with good sleep habits, as fatigue can worsen cognitive symptoms
β€’ Keep track of flare triggers that may increase brain fog symptoms

Remember that brain fog affects each person differently, so try different combinations of these tools to find what works best for your situation.
