have an appt
@A MyLupusTeam Member and everyone else--If your general ophthalmologist is unable to help with the double vision, dizziness, and other symptoms, they will usually refer you to a neuro-ophthalmologist, who specializes in these issues.
If they don't refer you, please ask them to do so.😘
I would ask to be tested( tilt table test) for POTS also syncope there are two postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome , vasovagal or neurocardiogenic syncope
I too am struggling to read & see anything this morning, i feel like im seeing cross eyed its a little concerning today i am struggling a bit, I know im already considered legally blind But now i feel my eyes are crossing over,
I see a new ophthalmologist on Thursday, i just hope this ones not as bad as the last.
My last one was actually further away from me than this one. he would see me 2 hrs after my appt time, he would see everyone else who had appts After me then he only would see me for two min , i would almost miss my bus home! & they didn't care , theres no one that can fit my power chair in there car because it doesnt break down or fold So i cant afford to miss the trimet lift,
Yes Jeri please see an opthamologist or retina specialst(that's who I see). Your vision is not a wait and see situation.
