I wanted to warn others that I recently discovered that drinking green tea and taking Atorvastatin is not good for people who take stations for high cholesterol. I love green tea and appreciate its benefits. I checked the contraindications with my bedtime medications and am now taking Atorvastatin at night. I will also talk to my doctor about it. Here's some information about other meds we should avoid mixing with green tea.

@A MyLupusTeam Member Iβve never taken that med but I love green tea. Thanks for the information though! Going to drink a cup of Matcha green tea with a dash of cinnamon and cardamom βοΈ
@A MyLupusTeam Member Thanks for the warning. I am aware of the side effect. All of our medications have some serious side effects. It's the risk we take to stay well. I am doing all I can to keep my brain function stable. That's all I can do. I will take heed and have a discussion with my doctors. Take good care.π
I'm new here but just wanted to know if you guys know how dangerous atorvastin is. Please look up side effects. One of them is dementia. Sorry if anyone gets upset for me saying. Were all here to help each other!
Thanks, MrsV, for sharing this info. I like green tea, too!ππ₯°
@A MyLupusTeam Member I am glad that I am not the only green tea lover. π
