I’ve had lupus since I was a teen and explaining it to people is a task. I recently had a flare up and am not 100% back to my “normal “ and where I work I work a lot of hours, and it’s a toxic environment. I recently had an infusion as well and I’m getting treated like I’m overreacting and like I should just get over it. Had to take time off during my flare up and was made to feel like an inconvenience.. has anyone else experienced this?

People don’t get it. Employers don’t get it. We get it because we experience it. You can contact your doctor and have them write you a note saying that you have a disability.
