I too started this way with extreme fatigue, joint pain, hair loss, Raynaud’s, then memory issues. My last rheumatologist says I may have undifferentiated mixed connective tissue disorder that can stay as is or progress to lupus. I only felt like my old fit self while on prednisone that was prescribed because one doc thought I might have myasthenia Gravis. Prednisone is not good long term. I am now on Plaquenil which has improved symptoms by 50%. A university memory clinic did Neuro cognitive testing & imaging; diagnosed me with non Alzheimer’s mild cognitive impairment. I improved a lot on low dose Aricept. It’s been a struggle to be heard and 7 years to get to this point. Keep advocating for yourself and get second opinions if you can.
