Hi friend my skin gets like that too my rheumatologist prescribed me some triamcinolone 0.5 and it works great. I get real irritated to but I gotta do what I kno that works 😇🙏🏽God is able to do exceedingly and abundantly for all we may ask or think. He’s our Healer

Yeah, I also switched to all natural materials in my clothes( !00% cotton mostly). I have not tried baby cleansers, I will try them.

I hear you. I switched to all natural materials in my clothes (100% cotton mostly) And baby cleansers and moisturizer's. And lots and lots of plain water. Hope that helps.

This happens because lupus-driven inflammation creates heat and heightened nerve sensitivity in affected areas. Some members describe it feeling like ants crawling under their skin or a burning sensation that makes everything hurt to touch.

Skin sensitivity is one of the most common lupus symptoms. In fact, over 80% of people with lupus report experiencing itching, and many deal with redness and temperature sensitivity as well.

Here are some things that might help manage the discomfort:

- Talk to your rheumatologist about adjusting your treatment plan if symptoms persist beyond a couple weeks
- Avoid known triggers like sun exposure, heat, and stress when possible
- Wear loose, soft clothing that minimizes contact with sensitive areas

I have always worn natural fibers since I was a teenager. Never liked polyester. Man-made fibers cause itch and dry skin on my back. I have to check all fiber content on clothing and sheets. Daily moisturization is important, especially this time of year.
