I’ve tried bazuka wart cream and Im trying some bazuka sub zero the weekend on my warts . I know it will be sore but the one under/side of thumb nail is all cracked so won’t be able to use anything on that one yet but the fingers i can. Fed up of wearing plasters .
My daughter suffered from warts for several years. We tried the OTC stuff, we saw our GP who used the freezing gun but they kept coming back. Our GP sent us to a specialist (don’t remember what kind) and he wanted to put a needle in her foot to numb it and then cut it out. My daughter, who was eight at the time, put up such a fuss (understandably) that he paused and said you know in the olden days when I went to med school they taught us to wrap it in duct tape for a week. We tried it and it worked every time. She eventually seemed to outgrow the wart phase but I pass that tidbit on to everyone. It’s cheap, effective and way less scary and invasive. Good luck.
Topical salicylic acid works and is over-the-counter. In the US, dermatologists prescribe 5 fluorouracil cream for warts, Rose. You may want to ask about that if the other options aren't working.
You can use Botanna Oil on your nails. Works fantastic. Kind of nutty smelling but not bad. Will heal any skin problems on hands, nails, and feet or toenails. I had problems with my nails and skin, itching, dryness, skin bumps around my nails and skin. Been using Botanna Oil for about two years. No problems my nails are beautiful and strong. If my head itches I use a few drops on my scalp as well.

Was treated from Dermatology for years. Nothing worked. Difference between night and day after a week of use.
I also have ridges on my nails.
My left thumb nail is split down the middle. I had no idea Lupus could cause this!! I just read the article that explains the various things Lupus can cause.
