"Jucky" is absolutely a valid medical term for what you're describing! πŸ˜„ Yes, weather can definitely affect lupus symptoms, and that muggy, humid combo you're dealing with is a known culprit.

Here's what humid and overcast weather can trigger:

- Joint pain and swelling β€” changes in barometric (air) pressure can cause inflammation and discomfort
- Fatigue and lethargy β€” humidity can leave you feeling drained and sluggish
- Skin irritation β€” if you have skin-related lupus symptoms, moisture in the air can make itchiness worse
- Overheating β€” humid air makes it harder for your body to cool down, which can lead to hot flashes and excessive sweating Some things that may help on days like this:

- Carry a small portable fan
- Drink ice-cold water to help regulate body temperature
- Wear lightweight, natural fabrics that let your skin breathe
- Use a strong antiperspirant β€” ask your doctor about prescription-strength options if needed
- Take cooler, shorter showers

Everyone's lupus is different, so tracking which weather conditions seem to worsen your symptoms can help you and your doctor plan ahead. Hang in there β€” the weather won't stay jucky forever! ☁️

yes, I hate it. I’ve been good the past couple of days with no pain this evening. It started in my arms and legs. They seem not supposed to be a storm tomorrow to see it, but we do become the weatherman in our body knows it.
