I had an echocardiogram done today and have the results. I am still waiting on my kidney appointment. My blood pressure keeps dropping.
I don't know what to do or how to feel It's worse with me living alone. I get so light headed at time. I have fallen a few times before. In August, my son and I will live in the same house. That is so far away. I"m scared. I have soooo much on my mind. I get headaches.
Any suggestions
Lisa, I agree that it's important to call your doctors about the low BP and lightheadedness, and if it causes you to fall or faint again, please consider going to the ER. Increasing your salt and water intake can help with low BP, but your doctors must agree that you can do so safely.
Using a walker for support when you get lightheaded would be helpful, and please lie down as soon as possible to prevent fainting or falling. I know this is all very stressful, but try to keep in mind that these issues are treatable. Many on our site have multi-organ problems due to lupus, and we keep on going! You will adapt, too, but the low BP and faint feelings must be addressed quickly.π
I am seeing one. She is a great diagnostician, but is not great at the actual treatment. I can't take NSAIDS due to stomach ulcers,I have a bad reaction to steroids, so my treatment options are almost non-existant, which makes having multiple conditions that either mimic or mirror other conditions very difficult to accept and cope with as you feel overwhelmed that nothing is helping. I completely understand your frustration and sympathize immensely
This is all so hard. You got to stay as strong as possible and believe me I know how hard that is. You're in my prayers. I hope things start looking up for you real soon. God bless you big hugs
Your overwhelm is real and your feelings are valid, it's a process and sometimes it can be a lot receiving diagnosis, information and dealing with the complexity of symptoms, appointments and day to day activities. Mentally it's a real challenge! Ask your primary doctor for Rheumatologist, cardiologist and any other specialist referral. This is vital with you having so many different complexities happening at once. Second I would recommend a therapist someone that can provide that mental support while you are in this season. And last but really first, spiritually what are you devoted to and believe in? This journey isn't meant to fight by yourself ever and you need to be covered! I'm no doctor, pastor, therapist or anything professional but I am Empress and I can offer you these things ππΎπ words of encouragement!
I am sorry and have had similar episodes. Please insist on seeing a rheumatologist right away.
