Depression often accompanies our flares, and I experience this sometimes. Let's give ourselves lots of compassion, as living with this chronic disease is hard!πŸ’œ

I think it is just part of the whole mess. How can we not get depressed when we are in a flair? I find depression and exhaustion to be two of the hardest things to control when I am in a flair. Just yesterday I forced myself to go to the park for a walk in the woods. I didn't feel like doing it at all actually I was afraid I would pass out. But I forced myself to go and did fine. I find getting out in nature is the best medicine for me. Do you read or have hobbies of any kind? Distractions really help.
