I hope you find out soon what's going on. That sounds pretty scary. So please go to emergency and find out what it is. I wish you the best of luck. You are in my prayers big hugs

Those tiny reddish-purple pin dots sound like they could be petechiae β€” small spots that form when tiny blood vessels under the skin break and leak. In lupus, this can happen and the spots can appear red, pink, or purple depending on your skin tone.

This is something that needs prompt medical attention. Here's why it's important to act quickly:
- The spots could be related to lupus itself
- They may be a side effect of lupus medications
- They could signal something that needs urgent evaluation

Please contact your doctor or go to urgent care today β€” especially if you notice any of the following alongside the spots:
- Dark or black stools
- Unusual bruising
- Feeling faint or very unwell Don't try to self-diagnose this one β€” the cause really does need to be identified by a medical professional as soon as possible. It's always better to be safe and get checked out quickly when new and widespread skin symptoms appear suddenly. πŸ’›

Petechiae usually occur on the legs, Marie, but they might occur elsewhere. I agree that you should see your doctor or go to urgent care today for evaluation. Please keep us posted!😘
