It very painful, itches, burns. It leaves redness. I have pictures from when it began yesterday. It's worse today! I am running a fever also.

After posting about a severe, painful, and rapidly spreading rash with fever, the community rallied around Samantha with urgent encouragement to seek medical attention right away, and she was diagnosed with a severe allergic reaction to poison sumac. Several members shared their own experiences with lupus-related rashes and medication reactions, noting how a compromised immune system can cause unusual reactions to plants, foods, and medicines. A recurring theme was the power of community support, with Samantha updating the group on her progress, securing a clinical advocate for specialist appointments and transportation, and expressing deep gratitude for the care shown by fellow members.

Samantha that is not normal even for lupus, you should go to the ER there are a number of things it could be, better to know and get treated then to wait it out. Hugs, I am so sorry you are in so much pain.πŸ’œ

I am very fortunate, it turned out to be a severe case of allergic to poison sumac! I am covered head to toes on calamine lotion and wrapped in a sheet! This is embarrassing but could've been a lot worse. Thanks for everyone support! Means so much to. Me! I thankful to all of y'all!
