Has anyone switched from cellcept to benlysta? Can you share your experience with me?
I was reading side effects and just wondering..
Has anyone tried the infusion/injectable Benlysta? This is the only medication specifically made to treat Lupus. My new rheumatologist would like to start me on this medication.
I am on the autoumjection benalysta for about 6 years and It does great things for all of your lupus and organs!!❤️😍
I just had my 6th infusion an every symptom I have ever had has come back an is steadily getting worse. I had some thing last clear up over time with imuran but after my last infusion on the first I'm back to the point I'm in so much pain an swollen I can't walk or open a bottle. Has anyone else had benlysta make then worse
After 8 months of giving myself injections I did not see any difference. It had gotten to where I dreaded the injections and was having panic attacks.
@A MyLupusTeam Member, all are natural supplements, including CN-SP, except for TP+SCs, which are your own stem cells

I am considering benlysta and my doctor wants me to take it (infusion). I am worried about side effects.
Problem is taking one than one autoimmune disease medication. If the side effects of each med overlaps, the results are exponential, not just additive.
I've been taking benelysta for probably the last 5 months. I get the infusion once a month, I also take cellcept 2000 mg and prednisone 2.5-5mg. I didnt have any trouble with the infusion, but I will… read more
For those on Benyslata or Imuran how you feel being on either medication. Thanks
Need some of you who are familiar with this biologic to give me your opinions. I understand everyone is different and responses to any meds are not the same due to our varying physiology. I’m on hydroxychloroquine and methotrexate but still in an active flare. My rheumatologist is suggesting this medication or a possible drug trial. I don’t have much more time before I have to return to full time work. I have already tried steroids. By body is not able to tolerate them.
Thank you for the info. I already have migraines and fatigue so hopefully it won’t get worse. Best wishes to you!
I know several people on here have had Benlysta infusions and I'm wondering what if any reactions people have had? I've had not so great reactions to other biologics so I'm a little worried. I start tomorrow. Thanks for any information.
@A MyLupusTeam Member. Yes but taking infusions in the hospital. At Duke. I don't have issues with nausea but I do get tired. And cold and have terrible leg cramps. But a lot of it is I can't get… read more
