Being Yourself Is More Than Enough

"After years of feeling like I need to be better, stronger, healthier, and in control, I now know I am enough." -Member of MyLupusTeam

Members of MyLupusTeam experience the burden of lupus physically, emotionally, and psychologically. Sometimes we strive to appear healthier than we are to avoid the stigma of lupus. Other times, we experience relief and support from peers who've been in our shoes.

"I'm getting out of the rat race. I'm not hiding my pain anymore. If I'm tired, I'm going to rest. Hearing from others with lupus has taught me that I have to prioritize ME." -Member of MyLupusTeam

Here are recent conversations from members on MyLupusTeam:

"I didn't sleep the best but woke up with very minimal pain/stiffness! I'm not sure how but so very grateful I'm finally headed in the right direction!! Hope everyone has a pain free day!!"

"So grateful we have one another to share with. Validation and encouragement make such a positive difference. My life was so different before I found all of you and I thank you with my whole heart!"

"Another day to share, love, support one another. Grateful for the support. No matter what pain levels we reach, we will rise and NEVER GIVE UP!!! Our hope can be captured when the inner voice says "you're brave!"
