the insides of my cheeks are raw and hurt so bad and my bottom lip. The dentist said it was Lichen Plantus but the mouth wash and stuff he's given me has not helped. I have had this for like 6 mo. I also have Lichen Planus overlap/ Lupus. Its rare because they always think you have Hep C which I do not have.
Mouth sore are very common with me. Last time I went to dentist he tried to tell me they were caused because I bite my checks. Lol
I get the mouth sores all the time! Lots and lots of crushed ice I use! It helps.......
I received a prescription for Kenalog dental paste, an ointment you put directly on the mouth ulcers. It helps with the pain and also keeps me from rubbing my tongue against them.
yes, I have had them so severe that I have been to an oral surgeon to have them taken care of, very painful but at least it was over.
