The real issue is because many Lupus patient take steroids which not only helps us it hurts us. Steroids can cause stress reaction of elevated WBC etc. Yes many people have MRSA and it is a organism of opportunity and can be spread by simply, if a person who is a carrier touches their nose and than touches a computer key board that you touch and you touch your nose you can get MRSA. The problem is because Lupus leaves us with comprised immune system MRSA goes crazy.

Most people have it in their system. It has become very common in the general public, not just immunocompromised. Sometimes it can cause an infection.
