He said it was extremely rare, also. The Oral Surgeon said if I had lichen planus and lupus then he was Tony Soprano, lol. He had to eat his words when I was diagnosed with Lupus a few months later. Other than that, I haven't had too much follow up for the lichen planus. It was put on the back burner and then I lost my insurance. Right now I'm having some issues but not much I can do.

Yes, I was diagnosed with erosive Lichen Planus early on and I do not have Hep C. You are the first person I've heard of having it as an overlapping diagnosis.

Yes I have lichen planus. I'm being tested for Hep c every 6 months. I will be getting results again next week. 8 year ago I also was diagnosed with skin lupus.

A doctor told me it is an immune disorder all on its own/ and they do not know what causes it but it was rare for a person with Lupus to have it so maybe he was wrong I do not know. What did they tell you?
