Pretty much same as title. How long were you tested for lupus/ suspected before you were diagnosed?

It took 3 blood clots and a hospital stay to see a trace but 3 years to fully diagnose. Almost had to die with Pleurisy to get diagnosis.

I got mine pretty quickly since I had a PCM who was on the ball and communicated with the specialists he referred me to. It took about a year after I started really showing "classic" symptoms. My main complaint before I started having chronic pericarditis was fatigue and general aches, was positive for Eppstein Barr so got a diagnosis of chronic fatigue for a few years. I probably have had it much longer because as a child and teen if I got sick it was the rare "no one almost dies from this" kinda thing. So always had a jacked up immune system.
