Up until recently I have not had any kidney problems. I have noticed bladder like spams when trying to urinate. Also if my bladder is full at all I get strange pains. Not like a bladder infection though. More so in my lower back.
Oh my, we are such a fun group of people. As long as we can keep good humor we got it made.
I had acute kidney failure before I knew what was going on. That is actually how they diagnosed my Lupus. I would see a doctor and if it is your kidneys you will see a neurologist. Or it could be kidney stones . I also had UTIs that contributed. I also agree with @Sharongodingstoning
Cranberry juice, blueberries are very good for helping the kidneys, bladder and keep water weight off.
I went through months of pain from my liver and kidneys this winter. Swelled up like a balloon. Non of my doctors would address the issue. All my test came back "within normal range". Well, anyone with lupus is not "normal"! My chiropractor/kinesiologist put me on suppliments for my kidney, liver, gut and thyroid. I have not felt this good in a long time! And I have dropped the 7 pounds I had gained and am eating a little more. I am going to miss my chiropractor! Hopefully I can find another as good as he is in Maine.
I'm on medication for bladder spasms. I now have kidney issues, very little output and am on lasix. Having kidney pain. My ultrasound is normal, which is no surprise. Years back I had gallbladder pain and symptoms, passed all the tests. My PCP talked an old general surgeon into taking my gallbladder out, it was covered with adhesions inside and out - he said he had never seen an organ that bad. Said it appears my body attached it. Think it's now attacking my kidneys.
