I've been reading a lot about hair loss,I have had some in the front of my scalp, but my hairdresser just gave me a new due. Is this something that wil cause complete baldness?
I lost half my hair about a year ago and its all back now. I would IMMEDIATELY go to your dermatologist to see what kind of alopecia it is. There are two types. One where your hair will grow back and one where it wont. I used a cream that grew it all back. Good luck. I totally feel your pain. My hair has always been my favorite trademark.
I have lost about half my hair over the last 2 years. I am a stylist so I see what normal hair loos is as opposed to severe hair loss. Within a month of taking Plaquenil my hair loss has become normal. It's still very thin (I have always had thick curly hair) but it should get thicker overtime. You need to take biotin, folic acid and vitamin e.
I lost about half of my hair over a year ago, it started with one little spot and then i just kept finding more and more spots. That's the first symptom i had and how i got diagnosed. I have to say it made me get creative with haistyles and accessories. Being bald sounds terrifying and hard to handle, but if it ever does happen trust me you will learn to live with it. No need to be afraid of something that hasn't happened and may never happen (i know, easier said than done).
I lost A LOT of hair about 7 months ago. I would have the whole drain covered in hair after a shower and this went on for about 3 months . Thankfully it was all over my head and not in just one spot. My hair got very thin but I was never sporting bald spots thankfully.
Thank you for putting up this question. I feel the same way. I personally felt that every since I started Plaqunil I noticed more hairloss. My derm suggested a line called Bosley, it's for thinning hair. It has helped to make my hair fuller but not with the loss. Try it out
