It is usually as a result of inflammation of the lining of the abdomen...very tender.

I have the same feeling. Lots of X-rays and nothing shows but my ribs are so sensitive. My docs haven't really done much for it.

So it is not just me, I get this awful feeling of swelling in my right side, feels like it swollen and is tender to touch, almost like someone kicked me in the side, usally lasts a couple of days, need to take pain meds for it to let up, sorry, I feel your pain.

Yes my first signs are abdomen pain is the start of a flare up , then come the blow up.
