i am taking biotin 10000 mg and iron pill. Check with your dr if u need iron it can also affect the hair. I also do treatments with olive oil put it on the hair and head once a week for 20 minutes and then wash it make the hair stronger.

I lost 90 percent of my hair. My doctor told me to try Rogain and it has been working, slowly, but working. And I drink Biotin. I've been trying Nioxin but I don't see it doing a huge difference, the Rogain does more.

My doc has me taking folic acid everyday. One hairdresser had me use Nioxen, which is available only at salons. Another hairdresser is having me try Revita, because the Nioxen will help stop hair loss, but won't help it grow back, and supposedly the Revita will help it grow back. It is also only available at salons. Both are expensive, however, I wonder how much of that cost is profit because they know how we love our hair, we will do/pay anything to get our hair back...
