Do you take plaquenil?

That might be your answer. I have read a lot of that side effect after long term use. Check with your doctor of course.

been on them for about 14 years, but religioulsy now for the past year, and this past year side effects have been aggressive. i ahd my 1st flare last year. when i took the plasmoquine, i went into remission
so its a catch 22 situation for me

Check with your doctor. I know what you describe CAN be a side effect of anti malarials....have you been on them a while?
