I smoke and I have tried all kinds of ways to stop. My dr says its my crutch and that may never quit. I smoke to help with the pain and depression. The more I hurt the more I smoke. When my husband asked my doc about it he told him that my illnesses will kill me long before my smoking does. Sounds harsh but its true

After diagnosis I took Chantix to quit and was asked by my son to quit taking Chantix it made me mean. Did patches for awhile then went to vapor smokes. Can say I no longer can stand the smell of cigarettes but still use vapor cigarette daily can't seem to quit all the way. I had smokes for 30+ years before giving them up too!
