What other symptoms do people with Cutaneous Lupus have?
So far cutaneous lupus is all I'm diagnosed with. They say a systemic is brewing. .. whatever that means !! I have all kinda of symptoms of sle but my ana is still negative
I think they are all confused about lupus as a whole .it's very frustrating

@A MyLupusTeam Member When testing for SLE, first you have to be in a Flare up Before the ANA testing will pick it up. Maybe you need to have a 2nd opinion also. Who is running the test? Rheumatologist?
I have SLE Lupus and Scleroderma, I also get the Discoid lesions of the skin, also Morphea Lesion, The symptoms I get when my skin flares up is really not to much pain, but when I get them in the scalp, oh it hurts like a toothache. Best thing for you is to stay out of the sun as much as possible, I have also squamous cell carcinoma cancer from the lesions thinning the skin and from to much sun when younger. Please take care of yourself and Stay Out of the Sun. The Sun is bad for Lupus period. Do you see a Dermatologist?

It took about a yr for my test to come back positive. Was happy once it came back positive because i was going crazy when test would come back normal and docters made it seem it was all in my head.
