No it lowers the immune system, be careful you are more acceptable to infections. It helps with swelling and others needs that your Dr thinks you need it for. Google all meds if you want to know more too. Good luck

Your meds will cause bruising especially steroids, it lowers your immune system. I have them too and lesions that won't heal. Try Epsom salt in a bath to heal them. Good luck friend..
