its supposed to be used for seizures but has been used for nerve pain. im wondering if anyone has taken this for pain? and if they had bad reactions to it? ive just been prescribed this but i haven't taken it
I was prescribed gabapentin, in fact I still have a bottle of it. I won't take it, it just makes me very tired.
I took it for the nerve regenerating paiin following transeverse mylitis. I had no side effects but it didn't help with pain.
@A MyLupusTeam Member I still have episodes of numbness and tingling despite being on it so long. I'm not convince that goes away completely
My rheumatologist just prescribed it to me Monday & I'm only at 2 100mg at night but suppose to work up to 6 pills. I have noticed better sleep, bet still have tingly numb limbs.
I was perscribed this for pain but I have a man made Canabis with Gabapentin at the same time it does not help with pain as much as it is good for antizity which feeds off pain but with the Nabilone (weed) pill I find that it takes you mind off it which is just as good long as the mind is busy this combo is great i guess but I just statred last weeek but the Flare end when I started it so makes ya tired messes with the eyes and stuff its combo feels like smoking weed kinda so I have to do Urine test because of where i work so this does not show up in pee but I can get really relaxed with this combo .
