I have lupus nephritis, but lately I've been having extreme pain in my joints, my hands, hips, feet, and knees. Is this normal?

This time of year it's not uncommon this time of year with the change in season and temperatures. It causes more flares (for me at least). Def talk to your dr about managing the changes. Feel better soon!

Curcumin. I take twice a day and am completely off prescriptions for a year and a half. I know it works because when I don't take it for a day the pain comes back!!! And it is just a spice!!!

I get joint pain and its kind of weird because it moves around. It might be my elbows this week and my hips next week. Also, some Lupies have Rheumatoid Arthritis as well. It is sometimes a package deal, unfortunately.

Absolutely, that's my chief complaint. I have the diagnosis of MCTD with SLE. The pain seems to get better when I use heat.
