It's called Costochondritis . Inflammation of sternum / ribs. Went to hospital thought I was having a heart attack and hurt when laying on my sides

Sometimes when I mm flaring or having lots of rib and chest plate pain my rheumatologist will prescribe me a medrol dose pack and it clears up the pain for me within a day or two

I get rib tenderness on and off usually for me it's associated with a flare but also my chest plate is always tender to some degree to touch I just assumed it was part of my fibro
