I've been on Plaquenil for about 8 months and I just recently noticed I had a bald spot on the top of my head. It's getting bigger so I was checking side effects of Plaquenil and that's one but is it normal to have 1 spot go bald? I'm very concerned! Has anyone else had this issue?

We assume it's because of our meds but the boldness Is because the lack of iron in our body once your iron is low it causes your hair to thin then break off.. So we need to build our iron keep your hair moisturized...

I have excepted the bald is beautiful and I must say I wear it well. Alot of the medication we take will create hair loss. Try taking prenatal vitamins. I like my hair short now and the vitamins has thickened my hair.

I lost my hair Plaquinil and I developed a rash. All my hair grew back when I changed meds. 😀
