my fingers and toes are forever itching..it is like someone is pricking me with pins and they have this burning sensation..has anyone felt like that?
Raynaud's syndrome occurs when nerves in the hands or feet "misfire" in the face of cool temperatures. cold temperatures or stress. The nerves shut down the little blood vessels in the fingers or toes, stopping circulation. With Raynaud's first the extremities turn white and then a lovely shade of purple. This is painful and even more painful when the blood flow returns. The return of the blood flow is often characterized by itching.
It sounds like you may actually have neuropathy. Talk to your doctor. There is relief.
