I believe that I have had lupus for the last 4 years and was officially diagnosed with it Nov 2015. I started working for my church this January. But I'm only able to work maybe two to three days a week and maybe 4 hours each day. I want to apply for SSID but I don't want it to effect me at work. I love what I do. My employer knows that I have lupus and understands that some days aren't good for me. Has any ever applied but was able to still work part time? Thank you fam!!

I'm applying now. It's a ratio and it depends on your approved benefits. You should be able to work part time. I think my ratio said I could earn 1200 a month working then 900 in disability give or take.

I don't know anyone who was approved while still employed.
