I have also had that pain at times and it was my fibromyalgia acting up, I will get pain in the sternum and did not realise how sore until I touched it very painful. But at the same time with pain like that it is also could to get checked out at ER if you feel you need to you never know with that when it is heart , I go when I am not sure it is better to be safe than sorry. I find so many of our symptoms could be multiple things and find it very scary and not sure what to do. gentle hugs and blessings

HI Diane, i also have high bp and chest pains at times but my acid refux is always out of control even though i take nexium . i have a hiatel hernia to which makes me have pressure on my chest to . if you do as the doctors say and eat right you should get some relief . i break all the rules of eatting right so i continue to suffer ,i just beleive i f i followed a strict diet my symptoms would ease up. good luck to you

I have chest pains a lot during different season . They diagnosis me pleuritis and pulmonary. See I had several Heart attacks and strokes in my life time. But you really need to see heart dr or continue with regular dr to get the information you need.

I also would be very concerned. I would have it checked out, if nothing else, peace of mind. Women sometimes have different symptoms from men for heard issues.

i have bad acid reflux and i get pain in my chest and down my arm ,i told my cardiologist and he did a workup on me and found nothing but if i have alot of gas and it pushes up on my chest it makes me feel like my heart is beating fast and i get anxiety . it just has to pass on its own ,my blood presure goes up to. feel better ,see a gasto doc ,it might help
