I have been experiencing severe cramping of my fingers and toes for over 2 weeks now. I have about 7-10 a day and they are very painful. The cramping causes my toes and fingers to freeze in an odd way and I have to massage the cramp out. I have been to the doctor and none of my blood work shows anything that would be causing these cramps. I was prescribed Valium for the cramps but it isn't helping all that much. Anyone else having the same problem? If so, what are you doing to help it?
Not any more because I had low potassium. So now I eat a lot potassium foods so I don't have to take the pills. But check with your doctor and have them to check it.
Sounds like you need a muscle relaxer. Not Valium.

Yes, mom has those as well. I massage them, and keep the warm. I wish i did not have to work, so I can take care of her full time.
I'm having so much trouble with both my hands lately it first starts with my thumb and forefinger cramping and basically stuck together and then the rest of the hand follows thru. I have to force my hand down and force my fingers apart. And it's happening in both hands the same way and it's all the time. It's killing me it's so painful.
