Hi everyone, Does any one get little blisters on their skin? I'm getting little clusters of small blisters on my skin, they're on my right arm at the moment, i've either scratched or rubbed them or both and somes burst and are now sore, are they common with Lupus? Something else added to the list of symptom's :(
@A MyLupusTeam Member Are they red circles with white pustule like spots in the middle with liquid in them? I was told they are calcinosis. They can be in soft tissue or on bone. When they show up I was told to keep them covered with a bandaid till they heal. A part of the autoimmune diseases. Hope this helps. Take care. Hugs.
@A MyLupusTeam Member. @A MyLupusTeam Member. We just never know what tomorrow will bring, do we? Infections, viruses, rashes, mouth sores, bruises etc. Hugs and prayers to everyone. Stay strong.
Yes they are common. I just got over having them. Try not to itch them or rub them because it only makes it worse. They can give you a cream to help get rid or them but it won't stop the itching. It'll be better before you know it. Also try to stay out of the sun cause that can make them worse.
Hi Dawnelle sorry to hear her suffer from it too, i will bring it up on my next visit to my Rheumatologist, and fingers crossed she listens to me fully this time as she seemed to turn off and not listen as i read out a list of my symptoms as it was my only my second visit to her since being diagnosed and after talking to the amazing people on here like yourself i knew all the symptoms i thought were simply in my head were in fact real and part and parcel of Lupus and Sjogren's ect, her lack of interest was like a kick to the guts i can tell you, If i hadn't spoken to you guys i think it may have broken me even though i'm a strong person, But on my next visit she'll have the list again and be asked about this too but i'll be more forcefull, i'm always nice first time around but not so nice second time if i have to be, It's so wrong, we in no way ask to be struck down with Lupus ect do we? and we certainly don't go looking for more of it's symptoms to smack ourselves down with, I've seen loads of coconut oil on the shop selves of late because it seems the in thing to cook with and i may go buy some and slap it to this lot, Thank you for your advice love i will try anything and fingers crossed it works for me, i now have at least a couple of things to try, Again thank you :)
Are you gluten intolerant? Skin blisters can be a side effect of gluten intolerance and they look like small pus filled or clear fluid filled sacs which itch or become painful.
