Fibromyalgia can effect your jaws and create jaw pain. I was diagnosed with it recently and was surprised to find out that it was probably the cause of my jaw pain.

You may have TMJ. You get it from clinching your teeth, biting hard things, and to my understanding sone people are biologically prone. My grandmother had it, mother had it, and me. I put heat and ice packs on mine and used to use a little mouth guard. I believe a chiropractor is who I went for mine. Honestly I think it's a type a personality thing and the therapies I did were quickly outdone by my behavior to clinch when pissed. They now have really good procedures and methods of treating it.
