I got a letter from my attorney stating that my Social Security Disability would not be here any time soon! i don't know what else to do. its been appealed and i don't know if i should get the address of the place that we appealed to and send them letters upon letters or if that would do any good. a friend of mine told me that she thought my lawyer has been jerking me around ... i don't know . i know that he says he is doing all he can and has quite a reputation for being a good lawyer. but… read more
yes if they win your case they get paid , got letter today from judge I'm so happy been waiting a long time but its worth it still waiting on letter social security office regarding Benefit amount . Go for it
i do have a lawyer but when they win your case they get so much so thats how it goes . try a free consult and see what they say find one in your area and call them
@A MyLupusTeam Member, congratulations! Did you have to go into the SS office after receiving approval letter? If so, what happens at that appointment?
Do you have to use a disability lawyer? How much do you have to pay them. I don't have much to begin with.
i know but i have done everything i can do this lawyer is a dissability lawyer and he says we just have to wait it out ! i am tired of waiting and since we appealed it in july of last year he says it could take up to 18 months to hear anything ,, so july this year will only be a year so hopefully i will hear something soon. thanks for responding
