Wondering how pneumonia feels different from walking pneumonia? I've had walking pneumonia before but this feels different. Chest/sides/shoulder blade areas really hurt, typical headache, coughing but not as much as with walking pneumonia. Cough is phlegmatic not dry...

Pleuracy (inflammation of the Pleura) is a frequent problem with Lupus; it is the inflammation of the sack-like lining of the lungs and heart, it causes pain in the walls of the chest, and can be extremely painful. Please, everyone, you have to be careful with Lupus, and go to your doctor any time you get pain in your chest or have problems breathing.

@A MyLupusTeam Member. Don't ever just stop antibiotics, for several reasons, one you won't be able to get cleared up without it. Two if you don't complete the course you will contribute to the many drug resistant bugs out there, the small course just let's the bug become immune to the drugs that should kill it. And next time you could end up with something there is no medicine to cure. That is true with any antibiotics and we already built up antibodies as it is. Always go back to the dr if you can't tolerate a drug they can put you on something else.
