My sister has skin lichen planus and I've been trying to research into it for her and while looking into it I discovered that it might be what is wrong with my mouth, oral lichen planus, so my question is does anyone else have it and is it linked to lupus? Xoxo thanks in advance x

Lichen planus is common in autoimmune diseases. It's usually nothing to worry about. Just watch it and let your dentist monitor it

I had it in my mouth real bad couple of years ago but I changed my toothpaste to one that doesn't have any whiting stuff in it. It cleared up. I also get dry mouth at times so I use cocoa nut oil. Works great.

I get sores inside my mouth often. I use a dental paste prescribed by my doctor that helps.

I've gotten thrush on tongue and mouth...caused by depo-medrol that the dr has me injecting every month...apparently, with the autoimmune diseases, we're subject to lots of ucky problem...blessings
