Hey all,
I have a curious problem. Every time after I get wet from whether it be a shower, bath, the rain, or even just damp clothes from the dryer, my skin itches like crazy until I'm dry. It makes my skin crawl all over and sometimes it makes me twitch; kind of like restless legs.
Does anyone else have this?

Have you ever talked to you nephrologist about this maybe they can refer you to a dermatologist it could be the soap you're using, the water itself, the fact that you have dry skin or you can have a skin disorder called cholinergic urticaria, try asking if you can possibly be seen by a dermatologist so they can get to the bottom of this my skin used to itch like crazy as well I had scabies thanks to my dad he bought a real Christmas tree and the bug found its way onto my body they loved hot water but hated cold so I had to shower in cold water in some kind of soap and then put cream on my skin it killed the eggs the bug was hatching in my skin, even after that incident was taken care of my skin still itched like crazy but it turns out that the soap and detergent I was using was the reason behind it and then they ended up putting a shower head filter/pressure in our shower basically it filters the water and that helped with my itchy skin I don't itch any more when I shower or bath. I try not to get into the rain so I've not itched when it comes to that, but for sure you should definitely ask to see a dermatologist, best of luck

YES! It drives me crazy! Even humid weather does this to me. Most days I dread taking a shower because I know what I'm in for.......I just never know how bad it will be or how long it will last. We have so much rain where we live anymore too and that does not help. In Illinois we never used to get so many days of rain spring and summer. Not enough days in between where I can enjoy life and get out more.
