Has anyone had a full upper or lower denture done with Implants l think it's called " All on 4 " it's 4 Implants to hold the complete top or bottom Denture , my Dentist is a lovely man but has never had a patient with Lupus (SLE) , he would love to correspond with another Dentist who has done this procedure , or the Dentist that has done the work , please l had a lady that answered my question last week and when l asked if my Dentist could email her Dentist she dropped off my team list , l hope… read more
I had 15 teeth removed in 2013 and have a full denture on the bottom with bridge on top that connects to the 3 teeth I have left. My dentist didn't think I would do good with implants.
I had bad problems with my teeth too. Had to get a full plate on top an partial on bottom. I didn't know I had lupus at the time. I opted to pay $1800 more for the titanium implants for the top. Now my body is defecting the implants. When I have a bad flare, my implants get very painful and loose. I'm down to 3 out of 6 now. One is barely holding on. The pain for ferrying the implants put in was dreadful. I have horrible sinus issues in the first place, but it hurt really bad. Looking back, I wish I wouldn't have done it. I couldn't understand why after all my life, having beautiful teeth, that they would break or become so decayed they needed removed. Now I guess I have the answer. Best of luck my friend.
