I am on CellCept... 1500...mg. a day... I still have flare-ups I have a very aggressive form of lupus but I am off of Prednisone right now and I'm off of benlysta also because I just did a round of rituxan... Which I had an allergic reaction to but they were able to control that... Unfortunately you might have to take a 12 Day pack of Prednisone or something like that... I don't know if this helps or not but I hope it will give you some ideas... Have a blessed day...

Usually if the flare is bad enough, the only thing they can do is give you prednisone. I wouldn't suffer through the pain. Those little antibodies may do some serious damage.

I start on a high dose of Prednisone and taper back off over 2 weeks
