Yeah all the time. For me it's part of the inflammation in the muscles. Plus when I'm stressed I have real physical symptoms. I take a real small dose of Valium to relax the muscles at night.

Yes I deal with muscle stiffness and achiness. I do yoga pretty much 5 days a week to keep flexible but sometimes it's like I've never done it before I'm so stiff.

Yes everyday😢 I just assumed it was just part of what ails me. Between the lupus and fibro there is always something hurting spasming or something all the time. Really gets old. Today my back neck shoulders and head hurt. 😩

Hi @A MyLupusTeam Member I agree with @A MyLupusTeam Member that this can be a common symptom in lupus, due to a flare, inflammation, muscle atrophy, and/or myositis. However, it can be caused by other things, including fibro (about 30% of people with lupus also have fibro) or Lyme disease, certain drugs (including some for lupus), nutrient deficiency (e.g., b12, b6), etc. It's definitely best to talk with your doctor; they may want to take blood, might be able to prescribe meds to help you, and might refer you to another doctor.
