Looking for friends who have lupus and understand the things I am going through. Hard to talk to people who don't truly understand or even care. I live in Tennessee! Looking for even a group or anything. Have had bad flare ups lately and can't work right now. just would like someone to talk to who understands. Thanks ☺️
In so sorry to hear this but I'm in the same situation,0. My only saving grace is my husband. He understands as much as he can. I have my MA in counseling psychology and I'm an MFT. I have been looking for work for 5 months, nothing. The only reason I can work is because I'm prescribed a stimulant for the fatigue. Along with numerous other meds, I function. Some days I'm in bed all day. I recently got a shot of B12 and that seemed to help a little. Friends? All gone. None of them understand. I still talk (sorta) to my best friend, but she never wants to do anything. Long story but her BF's sister used to be a really good friend of mine until I had to cancel a party invite. That was 3.5 years ago, haven't talked to her since. Because my best friend is living with her brother, she always chooses her (sounds soooo high school). It's just easier to not have friends sometimes. Idk what I would do without my husband.
We are here for you any time you need to talk or vent. I hope you connect with some one in your area who you could meet and have some chats. It is so nice to have some one who gets it. gentle hgus and blessings
I agree @A MyLupusTeam Member I dk what I would do without my fiancé, family and one best friend. Just def looking for a friend who understands and we can be here for each other. It's hard to get any friends to understand at all and I am tired of wasting my time on people who don't care to understand or be here for me too you know.

I'm feeling quite lonely lately, I'm in a different time zone too, but we can always talk, I use more instagram than lupusteam.
