Yes, on my scalp and the surrounding edges of my hair. I also have ragged, thinning hair in the front that feels totally different from my natural hair and will not grow more than two inches. The rheumatologist I went to for a second opinion this week advised that I go to a dermatologist and have them do a biopsy of my scalp to exactly determine what it is.
Talk to your doctor or do what I did...make the appointment based on your gut that something weird is going on and you need to seek confirmation if it is related to Lupus or if it is something else.

Hi @A MyLupusTeam Member. Did your dermatologist do a visual exam or did they do a biopsy to determine what was going on at a cellular level? The second rheumatologist I saw last week advised me to get a biopsy done by a Dermatopathologist to be totally sure. I too was initially prescribed ketaconazole shampoo in addition to fonecia face cleanser. Before I was told by previous dermatologists that it was seborrheic dermatitis and given sterile solutions like Clobex for the brittle edges. It calms down the plague activity but nothing has ever brought my edges back. I have even tried reiki.

I'll update this post about my biopsy experience if it turns out to be helpful in determining an accurate diagnosis compared to the usual dermatologist visit when they look at your skin and hair for three minutes, make a guess and pets I've you a whole bunch of different stuff that insurance doesn't cover. :-{
