Absolutely I have muscle weakness! I am also on Plaquenil. I am a fellow weight lifter lover! This disease ( and treatments) has destroyed all my lifts. Last year at this time I could do 150 back squat for 6 reps. I weighed about 135 . No way I could now. I try so hard to keep lifting, but my strength is not there. Also, my back pain and fatigue are killing me.

Yes, I lost all my muscle mass because of Prednisone. I had a very physical job, so prior to this I was strong.
After the high dose Prednisone, I couldn't even comb my hair.

Yes now that I'm taking. Plaquinel again. Muscle weakness back. And over doing it makes everything worse even off of plaquinel.

Wow! 200lbs! I'm sorry you are struggling with it now.

Well, I had a passion for Olympic lifting, could back squat 200 lbs and now I can barely do 45 lbs. I have not stopped working out, I've just progressively gotten weaker. As soon as my heart rate goes up its like my muscles fill with lead
