I was wondering that as well. I don't have a rash but the itching drives me crazy when it hits. Benedryl is my best friend lately!

Hey Sweetie,its the lupus itch! It happens out of the clear blue sky and it takes over your life for the moment,my head,arms,legs and back just start to itch like I'm being bit by something. I take benadryl and use cortizone-10,it helps to soothe the itch.Try to avoid taking hot showers,as that can make it happen as well.I pray you find some relief,your not alone.Peace&Grace

I have had a rash that lasted over 3 years. 5 years later it's back again. The itching is hell. I find that putting alcohol on it drys the sores up and relieves the itch for awhile.

I suffer from it@Noreta. It's the beginning of a flare up. Keep yourself well moistened at all times as that really helps for the skin goes dry.

I still take a very warm shower,just not as hot as I like to avoid the itch. Its crazy what we go thru with this crazy disease,be well.Peace&Grace.
