I also almost died with having my son. My doctor also told me it would be good not to have no more. When my son turned 10, the doctor told me that my lupus was under control and that I could have more children. I didn't want my kids to be 10 years apart. So I tied my tubes.

I'm so glad it was easy for you. I almost died having mine and was told it would be best for me to not have anymore. So I got an IUD which gave me 5 years to decide what I wanted to do and I decided my son needed his mom more then needed another child. I wanted to be here for him.

I had a very difficult time when I gave birth to my son my suggest keep an eye on no, take your prenatal meds, make sure you inform you dr you have lupus. Do not clean out any litter pans.if you feel funny go directly to the dr do not hesitate. With you having lupus you should know how to read you own body pretty good. Good Luck and I hope all goes well.

It was my prayer to have children so I had four pregnancies with stating deep vein thrombosis in my right calf and I had to take blood thinners and warm soaks and ass legg wrappings !! Difficult deliveries and more blood clots ! Thank God for my Mother that was there for my babies and me for at least 6weeks ! I paid the price and I’m so very blessed with my three boys and one daughter and now all of my grandchildren !!! With SLE things change all the time !
