Has anyone used CBD oil, supplements, etc? If you have I'm very curious about your personal experience and if it helped with any of your lupus symptoms or flares. You don't really see a lot of things pertaining to cannabis and lupus which is why I'm asking. CBD and cannabis in general has helped with a slew of medical conditions but it seems there's very little research on its affects with lupus. Also if you have come across any kind of articles about CBD/cannabis and lupus I'd greatly… read more

@A MyLupusTeam Member congrats on getting your card! I hope that now you can find something that works for you. I'd like to suggest the site leafly for you as it has lots of helpful information, they have a nice little option to explore strains that has an advanced filter so you can look for say a hybrid strain that helps with anxiety, insomnia, and chronic pain. They also post articles too that seem unbiased that I enjoy reading.

I ordered some CBD oil a few days ago and it's to arrive today. I can't wait to try it as I've been in a lot of pain lately so I will definitely keep you all updated on my experience.

For those curious CBD is legal in the US and you do not need a card or anything to obtain it, you can even order it online. Personally I'd like to give CBD oil a try and I plan to try it.

@A MyLupusTeam Member I know exactly what you're talking about with the allergy pills, I thought I was the only one and felt weird when I'd feel awful, take one, and then feel better. I'd keep thinking maybe it was just allergies even though I've always had suspicions that it was lupus related. Also I am sorry people doubt you about having lupus. It can be really rough living with this, especially when trying to explain symptoms to your Dr. I quickly glanced at your profile...do you have skin issues with your lupus? They do make creams/salves with CBD in them that may help you get some relief.

I have, did notice a slight difference with inflammation. Medical Marijuana has helped more though with out all the pain killers, in capsule former. It gives me energy because it blocks all the bad in my system.
