Sleep..I crave it and can't find it. Insurance company will only allow one prescription of ambien per year and then they won't pay for any more of it. Lunesta made everything taste like metal...was horrid. Trazadone doesn't work. Amitriptyline stopped working. Prednisone is hyping me to the max. I just want to sleep one whole night and then have one whole day where I almost can't tell I have lupus. Well, ok, I'll admit...I just want to not have lupus.

I know the drill! Guess maybe we are going to have to play games together all night!

Every single night of my life I absolutely hate I slept a few days ago for few hours feel awful x

Even though we won't sleep it's best to lie in bed for as long as you need too. I've had appointments everyday this week except today I'm not getting out of bed I really can't x

Every day. It's the strangest thing. Tried forcing myself to stay awake in the day and that didn't help. Have gone almost three days with less than two hours of sleep on time. So, every night I am up. My husband sleeps like a rock. But almost every night around 3:00 am he wakes up and says, "You're still up reading?" And then 10 seconds later he's sleeping again. He never remembers the next day. So far, Ambien works to fall asleep, but lasts only 3-4 hours. Ativan lasts about 2 hours. Amitriptyline worked for about 6 months and then quit working. Lyrica gives me some kind of muscle grimace in my face so I can't take it. Supposed to ease neuropathy pain so I can sleep but really caused a problem when my face got horribly stuck in this grimace like position for several hours. I seem to have a weird reaction to antihistamines...hype me up. So does Prednisone. So, what works is melatonin...only I can't wake up the next day. Best thing I have used is Valarian Root. But it tastes like an old shoe! I take it with milk so it doesn't upset my stomach. Good luck everyone. This is such a common theme. Need big pharmaceutical to take this on and find something that works. Oh...lunesta....made everything I ate and drank taste like metal. Horrible, horrible thing!
